Suicide Pool Final Results

Well, once again no one made it to the end without rebuying, but congrats to all three of you who do get to pick in the final game, even if all you a-holes are picking Kentucky.  REGARDLESS, I knew there was a reason I put in about 258 tiebreaker rules, and they came down to them for 5th place and, more importantly, 1st place.  The 5th place tiebreaker between Hunter Strickler and Mitchell Speedy goes to Hunter Strickler for having the highest individual seed at any time chosen, as he chose a 10 seed at one point (Xavier), when Speedy's highest choice was a seven seed (Florida).

Now, the first place tiebreaker.  Blake Hooper and Sean Riley ended up making the entire way w/ an equal tiebreaker score of 34.  So we had to go to the seed ranking rule.  Both picked a 10 seed as their highest seed picked, then both picked a seven, then both picked a four.  Finally, we had resolution as Blake had another four and Riley had a three next.  Finish order settled, Blake Hooper is your suicide pool winner!  Congrats Blake!  Here's the payout breakdown - I came to these amounts by following the proportions I used in the "projected payout" section of the rules...

Total Pool: $1,540

Referral Pool: Ryan Patterson - $154

1st:: Blake Hooper - $830
2nd: Sean Riley - $335
3rd: Nick Kahl - $130
4th: Ryan Patterson - $55
5th: Hunter Strickler - $36

Congrats all!  Payments will be sent out once I throw all the cash payments into the bank.  Expect them shortly.

As for the Super 7, the results there are still undecided.  A Kentucky win would give Robby Boswell the Super 7 victory, and a Kansas win would give the pool to Shannon Ware.  FYI, here's the pool breakdown for the Super 7 -

1st: $175
2nd: $70
3rd: $27
4th: $18
